AEC-Sync knows that the success of every project depends on keeping documents organized. Documents inform, clarify, and set the vision for the project. With AEC-Sync you no longer need to copy, distribute, re-send, and file. With the large file sizes demanded in the design and construction business, “normal” file management technologies do not work. AEC-Sync provides a powerful suite of services to enable true collaboration within the project. 

Traditionally background files have been delivered to project team members through FTP and email. Some companies restrict open FTP access, and email servers rarely accept files larger than 10MB. Passwords are always a headache and not secure because anyone unrelated to your project can download files.

Activity Logs

With AEC-Sync the files are secure and you can monitor download/upload activity. The activity log filters individual user's actions. View when a file was downloaded, uploaded, deleted, or renamed. The activity log report can be downloaded at anytime in CSV format.

Controlled Access Permissions

Project managers can establish as many shared folders as needed, and create access permissions for each folder. The project administrator specifies, which users can download, upload, edit, delete and rename documents. Narrow your access permissions down to user-types or individual uses.

Send Files Outside AEC-Sync

Send documents to users outside of AEC-Sync by creating a web link. Each web link contains a unique password, expiration date and a limit to the number of downloads.
