The following construction specs have been prepared in CSI 2004 format. They are designed to assist the design and construction team in generating collaborative administrative procedures during construction and bidding. Text may be altered or removed as required. This text is intended to supplement existing submittal and RFI procedures. It is not intended to replace specification section 01 33 00 and 01 26 13 in its entirety. It is recommended that companies review their existing specifications for discrepancies with AEC-Sync’s text. For example, most traditional specifications request multiple hardcopy submittals to be delivered – this would conflict with AEC-Sync’s electronic submittal requirements.

Include AEC-Sync in Bidding Documents
Design teams are encouraged to include the use of AEC-Sync within bidding specifications. Our per-project fee structure allows for the cost of the service to be included with contractor bids.
